Jobs:
  • 1 concierge per day to do all management jobs.

  • 1 academic steward to lead the class in drills, practice, etc.
  • 1 first class passenger who may read to a class bear, choose their seat, be the line leader and any other reasonable thing they ask to do.
Classroom Management:
  •  luggage tags for rr passes

Academic Ideas:
  • Books throughout the year with a journey theme
  • Monarch journey south
  • Write once a month about where they would like to journey to.
  • Learn about maps with the zoo maps I was given
  •  Travel in history
  • French word journee, which means the period of one day
  • Write monthly postcards about what they have been doing that month. Save as a record.of the year.

    You've got a great start! I LOVE LOVE LOVE themes like this that are broad enough to be able to include so much creativity and yet fit the curriculum!
